Khushbu Sikaria’s passion for discovering and wearing emerging designers began at an early age. Her extensive international experience and time living abroad inspired a keen interest in discovering local talent. She majored in Marketing and Retail for her undergraduate studies, and then went on to receive her JD/MBA degree. Her diverse experience includes working as an assistant buyer and, following graduate school, briefly practicing law, then moving to Washington, DC to work at a luxury marketing and branding firm.
Founding Sicaria has allowed her to parlay her passions into a business and she finds that being an entrepreneur is the perfect way to blend her business sense and strategic skills as a lawyer with ambitious vision and creativity. The ever-changing nature of the fashion industry always provides new challenges and inspiration and Khushbu hopes that Sicaria will soon become the community that fuels the growth of up-and-coming designers and serves as the shopping destination for fashion-conscious women.

Samantha, a resident of DC, originally hails from the outskirts of Pittsburgh, PA. As an on-the-go consultant, Samantha’s day-to-day wardrobe blends a mix of east coast sophistication with west coast comfort and ease. When her 9 to 5 does not demand formal business attire, she can most frequently be found in graphic sheath dresses paired with statement necklaces and sky high platform heels and wedges. Samantha’s favorite shade for everything from tees to frocks is royal blue. Her fashion philosophy is “Dress to express yourself,” and she believes that one should dress to not only look but feel their best every day.
