Tam Tran

Tam Tran is a jewelry designer/goldsmith using ancient hand worked techniques of jewelry making. Using traditional alloys, gemstones, rose cut diamonds and technique from the classical period to create distinct work, she works intuitively and is inspired by ancient civilizations and indigenous cultures which serve as a starting point for her designs. Each piece is hand worked and bear the organic marks of its fabrication.Influences from her apparel/textile design background is evident in her use of color, texture, and unique applications to traditional metals technique.

In addition to her own collection, she frequently collaborates with the costume designer, Susan Lyall, to create special pieces for various film/TV projects.
