Delirius

Born and raised in different towns in Belarus, Iyra Paboikina and Katya Patsukevich already shared the passion and love for design when they met at Belarusian State Economic University. As roommates on campus, Iyra and Katya discovered their common taste and love for the arts. Finding free time in between lectures and seminars, they sketched, designed and experimented with styles and trends, trying to find unique and unexpected combination of textures and colors.

After school, they both found their way into the US to pursue their education in fashion. After completing an associate program in merchandising management at FIT, Iyra followed her passion for design by attending classes at Parsons and interning at Anna Sui and Vivienne Tam. Eventually, she was offered an Assistant Designer position for British designer Tina Antoniades, where she learned all aspects of the business and began strategizing the launch of her own line. When Katya relocated to New York in Summer 2007 after studying History of Art in Miami, the two friends finally decided to realize their creative vision and apply their signature design aesthetic to a brand of their own.

The result is a carefully executed line of ultra-soft and feminine women’s separates, dresses and knits, combining metropolitan sensibility with artistic details and unexpected fabric combinations. The idea is to capture the mood and trends of tomorrow and incorporate them in today's fashion without compromising form and function. Delirius designs are fresh, unique, chic and elegant, but also comfortable and easy to wear.
