Andrea D'Ambrosia

“Making something is no accident. As a child, I spent endless hours behind a sewing machine or with a sewing needle with my Italian grandmother periodically checking in on me. I made doll clothes and then graduated to making my own clothes. She taught me to enjoy the process of creating something beautiful, whether for myself or someone else."

Over the years, Andrea D'Ambrosia has taken up and put down many creative skills while pursuing a career as a technology and marketing professional. The pull towards art and design finally took over and after many years of friends and family cajoling her, she finally decided to make things for sale. She has been lucky to travel a great deal and have always cultivated an interest in diverse arts and culture. Travel and art have been Andrea's influences.

While her design work began with jewelry, it has evolved to include several lines. Her lines include the Bold & Vintage collection that incorporates vintage brooches as a clasp; natural combining austere; natural materials with semi-precious stones; as well as pieces for work, weddings and special occasions. I appreciate elegance and grace and hope that you will find both in my work.
